Medigenic Announces New Partnership with JVCKENWOOD as Distributor of Infection Control Keyboards

Coeur d'Alene, ID, January 27, 2020 – Medigenic, the medical-grade infection control keyboard, has recently announced a new distributor partnership with JVCKENWOOD Corporation. The partnership was revealed at HOSPEX Japan 2020 where JVCKENWOOD exhibited a range of devices used for maintaining hygiene, improving safety, and achieving efficient operation in medical facilities from November 11 to November 13.

This partnership was formulated during a crucial time where new equipment like Medigenic’s series of anti-infection, waterproof keyboards and mice are vital during the “new normal” of healthcare facilities in the COVID-19 pandemic.

During HOSPEX Japan2020, JVCKENWOOD exhibited various devices including monitor systems for maintaining hygiene, improving safety,and achieving efficient operation in order to provide safety and security to operating rooms and other medical facilities.

The Medigenic keyboard and mouse, manufactured by Advanced Input Systems, supports disinfection with any disinfecting wipe by adopting a flat design with IP67-equivalent dust-proof and waterproof specifications. The “key disable” function allows cleaning while connected to a PC which enables both comfortable operability and easy disinfection, preventing contagious infection during PC use. Along with the easy-to-clean flat surface, Medigenic keyboards also have a patented cleaning alert system that reminds users when it is time to clean the keyboard.In a University College of London Hospital (UCLH) study, data showed a 3x increase in compliance to cleaning guidelines when utilizing Medigenic keyboards.
